“What do I wear to the event?” (Dress Code)

The attire for our wedding will be spring semi-formal or smart casual. Anything from suit and tie, to nice pants and a formal shirt will do. Do not be shy to wear something colorful!

“Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?”

The ceremony and reception will all be inside. However, we will be traveling from the ceremony to the venue. The venue also has an outdoor area near the dance area that we will most likely make available if the weather is nice enough.

“What will the weather be like?”

The wedding will take place in Holland, MI, and Saugatuck, MI. The weather in this area during May is usually a high of 70 degrees, and a low of 50 degrees, with an average of 8 days of rain. We are hoping for beautiful sunny weather, but it may be a good idea to pack an umbrella or raincoat just in case.

“What kind of food will be provided? Will there be an open bar?”

We will be having a taco tent which will serve tacos along with sides. The bar will be an open bar. Beer, wine, and cocktails will be served.

“What time should I arrive to the ceremony?”

Ideally, if everyone could arrive 15 minutes early to the ceremony, this will give enough time to get situated!

“What time should I arrive to the reception?”

If everyone could arrive around 30 minutes early to the dinner/reception that would be perfect. Around 4:30 p.m would be preferred!
